You'll Just Have to Try It, January 31, 2011 By This review is from: Carex Knee Pillow (Health and Beauty) Take these reviews with a grain of salt- it's kind of like me telling you how great I like a particular mattress- what I like might not be what you like. Having said that, it is good to read the reviews to gather the positives and negatives about this knee pillow...
-it's got a washable cover. Important because these things do need a good washin' once in awhile. :)
-it may or may not be thick enough for you, here's where you'll just have to try it :(
-it's made of memory foam, so this pillow is going to give a bit. It will be too little, too much, or just the right amount depending on who you are and what feels comfortable :) :(
-the memory foam is a big plus if you're worried about your knee pillow getting beat down into a pulp over time. I suspect this pillow will keep its shape for years.

Stiff and pills, October 15, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Carex Knee Pillow (Health and Beauty) Good quality (although I guess you have to throw it away when the thin cover wears out or tears/rips. Fabric is soft and removeable but I would not want to try to get it back on... It is a bit stiff/hard and the edges are too sharp and by the morning your knees are practically touching. Should curve them a bit more. Also, it pills quite a bit (from flannel sheets). But beats a plain pillow. Next time though, I will think about getting a small memory foam pillow.
UPDATE: After 6 months I don't have to worry about it being too stiff. It now has barely any spring in the middle and squashes almost flat. For what I paid I would have expected it to last a lot longer.

I purchased 3 different knee pillows (the Carex Knee Pillow, Contour Memory Foam Knee Pillow, Homedics Therapy Leg Spacer), and this is the best of the 3. I have washed the cover, and the pillow could be squished to get it in and out. It has a very small zipper that does not bother me at all. This product does the trick for me.
