Unfortunately after trying it for a week, I found it too hard and "ungiving" no matter which side I tried. It now resides in my closet with my collection of "pillows I have tried and given up on".

Great for arthritic neck, February 9, 2011 By This review is from: Homedics HMP-MP Micropedic Therapy Pillow with Micropedic Beads, CoolCore Premium Memory Foam and Washable 100% Brushed Cotton Pillowcase, 25" x 19" x 5" (Health and Beauty) I bought this pillow on impulse from another store about a year ago as I was suffering from neck pain due to arthritis and nothing was helping, even targeted exercise and a chiropractor. I had tried using a memory foam neck pillow previously, but the contours did not fit my neck and just made my neck stiffer and more uncomfortable. This pillow proved to be a real winner right from the start. With the right support, my neck stopped hurting all the time and I am sleeping better. The foam beads can be arranged to perfectly fit your neck and head and give you just the right amount of support. The pillow has lasted well over the year I have had it. I am buying another as backup in case they become hard to find.
