I was waking up every morning feeling exhausted and in pain (back). Buying this mattress topper, I knew there would be an odor to it, by all of my research. I decided to go ahead and get this one, even know the one review it had was horrible. I took the advice of many memory foam mattress buyers, and aired this out for a day before buying. This also gave it time to fully expand.
Upon use, the mattress still had a slight odor, but that was definitely manageable. I am extremely sensitive to odors and smells, and the smell that remained in the mattress did not bother me. After the first night of use, I haven't noticed the smell since.
I've been using my topper for about 2 months now, and have to say my quality of sleep has improved tremendously. I am no longer waking up in pain, and I am feeling great every morning. The one thing I would say is that this will work best on a firm mattress - if... Read more

When I received it the smell was over whelming. I urge all to research polyurethane product and if you have a child with asthma and are prone to allergies and are sensitive to chemical smells and products this may not be for you. It gave me a headache within a couple of hours and burning eyes.
