Great Buy!!!, August 25, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sleep Innovations 1-1/2-Inch Memory Foam Twin Mattress Topper (Kitchen) I bought this in hopes of getting a better night's sleep. For a few weeks I had problems sleeping on my mattress(not the best quality) and looked into some options. I found this mattress topper hoping to mimic my bed at home. The first night i slept on it I was alseep within minutes and it has been that way ever since. Here in Afghanistan it is a must to get a good nights sleep and with this addition I now have that.

I sleep better at night ( Back and shoulder problems had me tossing and turning, not so much now!)
For [...] bucks I have a "new" matress
Comes with a nice zippered cover
Cons:
Retains body heat-expect it to be a few degrees warmer.
Strong chemical smell-to be fair all toppers have it. Follow the instructions and you'll be fine. I opened mine up in the garage and let it drape over some boxes for a week. I did leave the white packaging cover on it to keep it clean, it was in a garage after all:)
I highly recommend this topper, or the 2 inch one made my the same company.

However, at about $68 I thought I'd take a chance and I'm glad I did it... so far. I have a bad back, have hard some lower back surgery and have a few cats that end up on the bed at some point in the night that cause me to shift a lot to get comfy. All this and my failing pillow-top mattress makes for stiff joints and backache nearly every morning since the mattress really does not support the body contour as it once did. We purchased a few memory foam pillows a few years ago and were pleased with them so that was a decision factor in buying this topper.
The first night on this was a great one and I woke felling good and no back pains at all. It does adjust to your body so there aren't a lot of spots without some support. It isn't as easy to roll around with it but that's actually a plus because the support is so good you don't have to thrash... Read more
